Melton "on duty" for the Bundeswehr

The musicians of the training musical corps of the Bundeswehr Hilden had a long way to got to visit the company Wenzel Meinl GmbH at Upper Bavaria. After an eight hours trip they arrived full of expectation, looking forward to the new MELTON masterpiece baritone horn MWB34 and the flugelhorn MWF12.
Some months ago the training musical corps of the Bundeswehr had already decided to buy new professional German flugelhorns and baritone horns. After extensive tests they had decided for the masterpiece series of the Wenzel Meinl GmbH.
The baritones ordered by a music supplier had been slightly adapted in the studio according to the wishes of the musicians. The flugelhorns were selected from several specimens. Then the musicians noticed: with the new MWF12 flugelhorns "almost no difference can be noticed, we could have taken all of them."
